The WEH® TW57 filling connector is the ideal tool for filling gas cylinders with male threads. It is designed for a nominal pressure of 300 bar and for connection to non-residual pressure valves.
The highly innovative WEH® jaw locking mechanism establishes a secure and pressure-tight connection in seconds.The expandable thread segments clamp together firmly on the thread of the cylinder valve, pressure sealing the valve at the same time.
Simply place the CGA 540 connector onto the gas cylinder and close the loop around it. The pressure-tight connection has now been established – with no need for laborious screwing and unscrewing. This simple, time-saving one-handed operation simplifies the connecting procedure and makes fuelling times shorter.
For increased safety for the operator, the connector is fitted with an integrated safety peg. The gas pressure activates the safety peg automatically, preventing the valve from being disconnected accidentally while under pressure.
The gas cylinder connection is also ideal for pallet-filling too, ensuring increased efficiency and further increases in productivity.
The quick connector is available for gas cylinder valves conforming to DIN, BS, NF, CGA, etc.
Connectors for oxygen applications are oxygen cleaned, and are free of oils and greases.
