With the WEH® TW152 filling connector oxygen cylinders with male thread can be filled simply, efficiently and safely. The TW152’s compact design makes it suitable for filling oxygen cylinders with pressure control valves and protection caps, even in very tight spaces. The connector can be fitted as required with a straight-up or 90° media inlet and is available for cylinder valves fitted with residual or non-residual pressure valves.
Operating is quite simple: Simply push the connector onto the male thread of the cylinder valve and push the sliding sleeve forwards. The expandable thread segments clamp onto the standard thread of the cylinder valve firmly, creating a pressure-tight connection. Its ease of operation is gentle on the operator’s joints.
The connector is fitted with an internal locking mechanism to prevent it from disconnecting while under pressure. This ensures the highest possible level of safety for the operator.
The filling connector is fitted with venting bore holes in its sliding sleeve. The venting bores direct any oxygen that may accidentally escape from the cylinder valve off to the side, thus reducingthe danger of fire.
The quick connector is available for gas cylinder valves conforming to DIN, BS, NF, CGA, etc. All connectors are oxygen cleaned, and are free of oils and greases (oxygen tested).
